Data Editor / 数据编辑

Background/Job Purpose:

Provide clinically-based drug database and clinical decision making solution tools covering China’s hospitals from the perspective of medicine and pharmacology.   Coordinate work among a team of data editors to ensure critical drug-related content is flagged and delivered accurately to other dept. within company. Serve as contact     with other staff and outside clients in resolving issues with medical content and database application. Assist in the creation of targeting database and services to launch new products & reform or extend legacy products. 
 

Key Result Areas  

  Database Updates and Maintenance

         • Maintain information collection, and data extraction,analysis,standardization 
  as well as necessary updates with day-to-day processing operations;
       • Ensure database established with concise and up-to-date  content in a “real time”format as 
  well as with tight deadlines;
       • Response to requirements from clients in terms of database content and application; 
       • Comply with company policy, editorial SOP and evidence-based medicine principle.


  Multi-tasking Project Management

       • Take full responsibilities for assigned projects in respective parts accordingly;
       • Establish priorities when coping with multi-task in any case;
       • Steam-line workload to get best-in-class outcomes.

 

  Innovation Ideas Proposal

        • Being flexible in learning to work with new product areas and addressing potential needs in diverse therapeutic categories or healthcare settings.

  General Knowledge and Technical Skills:

       • Major in life science, medical science or pharmacology-related;
       • Project management skills;
       • Proficient in MS office software;
       • Basic skills of English translation;
       • Knowledge of database principles and applications  would be an asset.

 

  Required Education and Experience:

       • Bachelor degree holder as minimum requirement in relevant field;
       • Proven track record in 3+ yrs in healthcare communication agencies as medical editor; or 3+ yrs in healthcare setting & institution; or other interface with medical affairs;
       • Preferably experience of 2+ years in medical project management.
